1. The cookies we set
Openlight sets no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies. The only cookies we use are essential authentication cookies, created by our sign-in service when you sign in to your account.
These cookies keep you signed in as you move between pages, and they let our servers show you your own business’s information and nobody else’s. They are removed when you sign out, and they expire on their own after a period of inactivity.
2. Why there is no consent banner
UK rules require consent for cookies that are not essential to a service you asked for. Our authentication cookies are strictly necessary to provide your account, and we set nothing optional — so there is nothing to consent to, and no banner to dismiss.
A visitor who only reads our public pages, without signing in, receives no cookies at all.
3. No third-party requests
This site runs no analytics, loads no third-party scripts and embeds no external content. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party service.
4. Managing cookies
You can remove cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you remove the authentication cookies, you are signed out and will need to sign in again. Blocking them entirely prevents sign-in, and with it the parts of Openlight that need an account.
